Firstly the players and winners of awards for July.

Best Senior was Sam Nevin (Manadon Vale). Richly rewarded for all the best things (application and dedication to practice). Well done Sam!!!

And to Sam Heleas (Widewell) for the best Junior (superb attitude - yes, you can play football with a smile on your face!!!) Pleasure to have you!!!

Not forgetting Jake Hollins (Goosewell) for his Sunday performances who also had a best person award. Thank you Jake for your great effort.

Penalty and passing awards went to James Greenley (Langley), Lucas Christofides (St.Stephens), Jack Ford (Plymouth College), Ryan Coutts (Lipson Vale), 'wee' Archie Smith (Newton Ferrers) and he is only FIVE, Callum Hartley (Salisbury Road) and the first from that school!!! Not forgetting Harry Burrows (Oreston) for his magnificent improvement(his Dad is improving as well!!!). And finally, Owen Stallard for his penalty prowess and such a young age!!!!!

Just when I was 'chortling' about our great safety level of no accidents or injuries for almost seven years, poor Jack Rhead from Newton Ferrers stumbled and broke his wrist but more than delighted to tell that he is well on the way to recovery. See you in September Jack!!!!!

Many people have been enquiring about Summer 'soccer weeks' - alas and alack I have now stopped doing them. It was probably the best four weeks of the year and the progress made individually was enormous!!! So get yourselves off to a soccer week - Plymouth Argyle organise many events during the summer so give them a ring...now!!!

Just a reminder about our starting times next season!!! Saturdays starting on the 8th September, Sundays starting on the 9th September. Have a lovely Summer everyone and remember...live each and every moment as it happens!!!!!
